How about a sticky named "Please read the threads before posting repeat questions in them"....
I will see what we can do. With the new update coming out very soon, doing this now may be a waste till we find out everything that it contains/still having issues.

I loaded this ROM over the weekend to give it a spin. It really looks great and runs very smoothly. I rely on my phone for work so I decided to go back to my Eclipse ROM as the kinks get worked out on AxiOM.
I had done a backup with safestrap so I simply restored. Everything worked fine, but for some reason, I cannot get BlueTooth to work properly any more after my restore. Oddly enough, when runnning the AxiOM ROM, my Pioneer BT car stereo worked better than it has since i bought it several years ago. I am wondering if the AxiOM ROM has changed something in the BlueTooth Radio that would not be corrected by restoring my old ROM with SafeStrap. To summarize here is the sequence of events:
1. Used Eclipse ROM - BlueTooth works pretty well
2. Used AxiOM ROM - BluetTooth works perfectly
3. Restored Eclipse ROM - BlueTooth will not connect at all.
The only issue with BT under Eclipse, was that I had to trun BT off then back on for my stereo to connect. WIth AxiOM, it worked perfectly.
I suppose I could try to re-flash Eclipse, but I have everything set-up exactly how I want it and hate to go through all that effort if I am overlooking something obvious. That might not fix it anyway, so I though a bit of advice might be helpful.
Any advice is appreciated.

Only advice I have from my experience would be just trying to unpair and repair the Bluetooth devices after swapping from safeside to non and vice versa. I don't use safestrap anymore but when I did I had to do this anytime I restored for my devices to reconnect. They would show up but not pair until doing this.Greetings,

I think since we can't really talk about the work here since it's not officially supported here, we should at least know what's going on /:This shouldn't be a open forum topic for sure... But I am appalled at what has happened and it needs to be addressed.

It's called 2nd-init. In layman's terms, it basically freezes Moto's stuff after it loads (minus the kernel) & replaces it with our own through a hijack. It's been used since way back. The only downside is it can't replace the kernel.Just a quick question.. with motos locked bootloader, how were we able to simply flash this AOKP ROM? I love that we can, but didn't think it was possible, has something changed in the way DT is cooking his ROM's?

I've donated a lot to this site and tried to help others when I can, but for once, can all of you drama queens just shut the f%$k up.
I see "judgement calls" were made on "false information". Thankfully this is a hobby, b/c in my line of work, calls made on false info normally gets you fired at best and charged/convicted at worst. We've already seen quite a few behind the scenes drama scenarios play out on this site and maybe....just maybe people should take a hard f%$king look at the people they choose as "staff" or "mods" before assigning them those titles.
