Looks like I have done something wrong. I an running Eclipse v1.3 over stock .173 in safe mode using SafeStrap.

I tred to flash this in the Safe side, but no luck. With Safe Mode Enabled, I did the following:

  • Wipe Data/Factor reset
  • Wipe Cache
  • Wilpe Dalvik Cache
  • Mounts/Storage - Wipe System
  • Install zip from SD.
Afer that nothing happens. I get the red Moto logo, then it goes blank. I have let it sit in that state for up to 10 minutes with no success. Tried many times with different downloads on both internal and external SD. Always that same results. I have to Fast Boot to get out. backup restores just fine, so no real damage, but I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong.

Any advice is a apreciated.

Doug M.

I have had the same problem. Tried 5 different times with various files... all md5's are correct. Followed all the instructions and just get a blank screen when trying to boot. Have to do a reset and disable safe mode to revert back.
any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated... I want to be able to use this ROM, it looks awesome!

Honestly bootstrap is a pos. I wouldn't recommend it since there is safe strap.

Nothing wrong with Bootstrap. Just follow directions. Safestrap is just another option. Everyone has differences with both.

Just wiped everything and flashed. Been booting up for about 5 minutes now! I'm itching with anticipation to see it first hand. :)

Stuck on blue boot screen for over 20 minutes. I know to be patient but I've never seen one go that long. I'm re-wiping and re-flashing now. I hope this works. I checked md5 and everything was good. Don't know what's up with this.
