Not sure this is a fix for the keyboard issue (since I haven't had that problem) but have you tried force stopping and clearing data in settings? when I had the camera issue and wiped cache and dalvik the "android is updating" screen came up as well. Could just be coincidence... hope it works for you!

Keyboard wouldn't pop up when trying to text, type website address, etc..

OK, nobody make any posts today I have to host my grand daughter's bday party today!!! LOL...j/k.

Anyhow I decided to keep trying this ROM. Yesterday evening I rebooted, did the toggle dance and have had some pretty acceptable 4G data with blue bars! Did some market installs and some TB app restores and my Razr is humming along just fine. Thanks DT!!!

Keyboard problem seems to be a rare issue with this ROM so I don't think anyone who hasn't flashed it yet should be put off by it. Aside from the keyboard crap I thought it kicked a$$!!

Follow instructions and don't try to cut corners with restores and things won't go wrong.

MANY more people are rocking just fine compared to those that aren't.

First time installing SafeStrap. Followed Hashcode's and DT's instructions exactly. Had the ROM up and running on the first boot. Didn't take more than 15 minutes to learn and try it. It booted up in 30 seconds the first time! Everything is working better than it was on stock, and has been running since yesterday. This is hardly an alpha, and I see no reason to use it as a daily which I will be doing. The improvements over the stock Droid RAZR rom is night and day. I can't see ever going back. Thanks for everyone's teamwork on this project!

Yup same deal with me. A 3rd reboot would usually get me stuck on the Moto "M" logo and would have to do a hard reset to get back into bootstrap.

are you using a usb hub or any thing like that one other person posted the same issue and come to find out they had it plugged into a hub he removed that and it was fine. also check your cable try a different one or another port possibly
