My Gapps are 4.0.4, Flashing any other GAPPS will end badly. :)

Roger that. Thank you. Didn't you make a blacked out mms for this?

Can't see how... Nothing touches the SD Card.

OK, I think I tried enough times already. I just want to make sure if any of you used Bootstrap Recovery and successfully installed.
My steps are followed and if I got it wrong, please let me know.
  • Boot into recovery
  • Wipe Data/ Factory Reset
  • Clear Cache
  • Clear Dalvik Cache
  • Format /System
  • install zip file
  • Reboot
That's when I got that very loud THX sound and then it just was stuck at the blue logo

That sounds like the correct process...

Did you check the md5 on the zip? I could be a bad download

Works fine for me on safestrap 1.08. My guess is your bootstrap is broken (which has happened to me before and the reason why I pretty much exclusively use SS now...)

Roach, what did you do to get it to work? You mean power button and both + and - vol? Because if I do vol - and Power, it'll go back to recovery

How long did you let it sit. It takes awhile for this rom to start.

One of the devs over at My Droid world, in an OT instructions, said you can never wipe data/factory reset enough. Maybe do all you did before & wipe data/factory reset one more time before flashing zip file.

I installed using bootstrap. No issues here. Actual boot time was maybe 4 minutes at most on initial boot....

Oh well, I really didn't know what I did wrong or maybe my phone, but I followed all the instruction. Boot screen already stayed for 7-8 min.

If you are not familiar or accustom to long boot times, it sure can freak you out that you may have boot looped your Razr. Just hang in there and be patient. :)

Moved on to the LG G2 on VZW and lovin it!
