OK, I think I tried enough times already. I just want to make sure if any of you used Bootstrap Recovery and successfully installed.
My steps are followed and if I got it wrong, please let me know.That's when I got that very loud THX sound and then it just was stuck at the blue logo
- Boot into recovery
- Wipe Data/ Factory Reset
- Clear Cache
- Clear Dalvik Cache
- Format /System
- install zip file
- Reboot

Works fine for me on safestrap 1.08. My guess is your bootstrap is broken (which has happened to me before and the reason why I pretty much exclusively use SS now...)

Roach, what did you do to get it to work? You mean power button and both + and - vol? Because if I do vol - and Power, it'll go back to recoveryHappened to me too I just held the volume buttons and power button until it restarted then it booted normally.

How long did you let it sit. It takes awhile for this rom to start.

One of the devs over at My Droid world, in an OT instructions, said you can never wipe data/factory reset enough. Maybe do all you did before & wipe data/factory reset one more time before flashing zip file.I downloaded to my computer first, then copy to SD on phone, MD5 checksum 4A09EBE3DF54B91A2C3C352F29C859BF

How long did you let it sit. It takes awhile for this rom to start.

I installed using bootstrap. No issues here. Actual boot time was maybe 4 minutes at most on initial boot....

Oh well, I really didn't know what I did wrong or maybe my phone, but I followed all the instruction. Boot screen already stayed for 7-8 min.

Start fresh. I think its your ota. Flash abysm 1.0 skip setup install ss (put ss on SD or use mikes utility). Reboot then flash ab4. Worked for me but abysm is my main
