format system before you apply rom. wipe(cache/data/dalvik), format system, apply rom, reboot

I've never mounted /system. I usually wipe everything (dalvik/cache/data) then format /system then flash rom. I use SS btw.

in Gmail. click Menu button, Settings, Then click your email, click ringtone & viberate, choose ringtone, then choose Silent

Wipe Data/Factory Reset, Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik, Go to Mounts and Storage, FORMAT System.

Flash it. And DONT FLASH ANY GAPPS...

I have done this....I just wonder would reflashing make a difference....I don't want to waste my time if thats not going to have any effect...

Possibly. I'd recommend doing a full wipe though including format /system.

anyone having an issue assigning ringtones, my sound list doesn't show the ones I have on my card after the most recent flash

I had this the first time I flash build 02. It was not recognizing any tones period and I thought I had lost them. May want to reflash with a format. Not sure, but all of them appeared again after I did my second or third flash.

My phone just rebooted twice out of nowhere. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm assuming its totally random and prob won't happen again. Just curious.....

has anyone had trouble downloading pictures sent mms? i keep getting a message that says "can't download right now". everything else concerning my connection is working fine. just thought i would see if anyone was getting this.

the first boot take up to 2-3 mins for me. U should be able to tell if your boot looping . sometimes its slight shake, if your hearing the music multiple times, or if you can see the boot animation freeze then restart. im using SS as well. i came from abysm 1.0 and i had no issues
