The ROM is rooted. Unless you are restoring $#!+ you can't lose root. Lol

Great Rom :D I love how zippy it is, But i have a problem. I've been searching but i cant seem to figure something out. I just got my razr a couple of days ago and decided to try your rom. after I flashed it I dont have 3g/4g. what I mean is the signal bar becomes Greyed and has a little "R" at the top of it. How do I get my 3g back?

From the OP:

NOTE: For Data go to Settings/Wireless & Networks/More/Mobile Networks/Network Mode/ Select GSM only wait till the screen flashes twice (or it says 4G SIM detected would you like to switch to LTE/CDMA) then switch to LTE/CDMA. Data will come up.

You have to do this any time you reboot. But they've made it easy for us. The old way had a few more steps.

No problem. Sometimes those things are easy to overlook. That's why I always read the entire OP a few times before flashing anything. Makes life a little easier. ;)

Ok this is off topic but my HP laptop crapped out and the only other computer I have is a macbook but I have no idea how to use it for this stuff. I tried downloading Roms and installing them but they dont install. Are there any additional or different files that are used for Mac? I only familiar with the basic operation of mac. Plus Mac automatically unzips stuff after downloading. Thanks for any info that may be provided. This ROM is freaking awesome by the way!

Seems that this rom still has the issue of "Android is upgrading" after a reboot. Once it's done, different apps keep force closing, and I also lost the use of the keyboard across all apps. I tried to wipe caches and even do wipe data/factory reset. Still doesn't fix the issue. Fastbooting back to 173 for now.

So far the issues i've come across are the following on all ICS roms for the razr.

1. Data drops out after about half a day of use. Only a reboot brings it back sometimes.
2. After a reboot or 2, the phone says "Android is upgrading" and then breaks almost all apps with FC's. only option is to Fast boot back.

Had issue on the first Axi0M. Heard it is happening a lot with ICS in general it seems.

I thought it was bc i let my phone restore from my google account since I saw the warning in Dhackers thread about not letting it do that. I didn't do that this time around and the phone still f%$ked up.

Nope. They're not supposed to light up. Needs to be fixed.

If you mean restore from settings I never allow Google to backup or restore. Dunna wth did it with mine, too. lol!

So far I am fortunate not to bring bad luck back on this rom. If it does it again I'll just stick with stock until it's pin pointed.
