Wondering if anyone has had any success connecting their Razr M to a computer running Ubuntu 12.10. I have usb debugging enabled and connect my phone as MTP. When I run the gMTP program on Ubuntu and click "connect a device" I get an error something to the effect of unable to read "Raw Device", When I connect as PTP nothing happens either. I can not access, view or transfer the files to and from phone. I do have the latest gMTP program installed and also the computer is recognizing my phone when I check for MTP devices? Am I missing something? Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Would this work Linux Mint 13? I am going to try it. I got rid of Ubuntu 12.10 and installed Linux Mint and I am having the same problems mounting MTP as I did in Ubuntu. I will try it and let you know! Thanks for the support guys.

Update: I get the following after succesfully installing. "There was an error launching the application" Details: Desktop file didn't specify Exec field" and when I try to run as an administrator, It says " Unable to determine the program to run.

The item you selected cannot be open with administrator powers because the correct application cannot be determined."

This utility is specifically designed for Unity environment. It has to be run from Unity. I assume you are trying to run it from desktop.

Sorry.
