OK, so I have rooted my XT912, and applied the Arctic HD ROM, very well done, I am happy as a clam. Now to figure out what else I can do.

For now, thanks to members here, I am using JBdualboot, safestrap and a custom ROM. With these changes came new problems I had considered prior to rooting my phone. I.e. Problems with making calls. Problems using some of my favorite apps from Verizon. But for me, it's a one way trip. I love the improved feel of my phone. Now, I am committed to finding help and fixing my Problems while remaining with Jelly Bean. In the process, I will learn more about ROMs. I hope anyone with sugg...

Nine months have passed. I am now setting up my replacement RAZR MAXX. My other one was run over by a car. I am looking for new information to set up my phone again. Furthermore, I am not going to use my old software, unless I am told that there is nothing better.

My main purpose for joining this group is to control the applications installed on my mobile phone. I hate the idea of owning something as nice as a Motorola RAZR MAXX and forced to keep pograms that I do not want. Rooting gave me the freedom to get rid of the so-called bloat. I'm not going to bother you for the info, because I know it is out there, and it must be so annoying when people keep asking you what you have provided tools for & clearly explained! If not...well, I suppose that solidifies hero status!
